The sling is a small strap of leather or similar material, even rope or cloth, which is used to launch stones or bullets long distances.
Reloading a sling is a free action if both hands are used. You can use a sling with only one hand, but in this case it costs 2 AP to reload.
Your strength score is added to damage with a sling, as if it were a Thrown Weapon.
The Far Shot feat increases the range increment of a sling to 70 ft, or 100 feet for Lead Bullets, in addition to the normal benefits. It has no effect, however, on Fist Stones.
