Development continues on the Legends project, though the pace has slowed down some. Beyond the small aesthetic changes, Ethan is hard at work filling in the gaps of rules as we find them, and I'm plodding forward to reach an overall complete rule set. The last large section of core design work left is the detailing of the magic system. As always, a new magic system is a beast to develop, especially one that tries to both be simple to grasp and offer a fair amount of depth. One branch of Innate magic has been completed: Vitesse, which is magic based on maneuverability.
Once magic is done, development moves full on into world creation and developing rules for characters to exist within the world. This includes things like developing cultures and histories, or rules for governing how characters travel, including things like food, water, starvation, and commerce. All in all, there's a lot of work to be done here, but we're well on our way to having a fully playable (or at least Alpha-ready) table-top roll-playing game by the end of August. Until then, watch the Change Log on the right for the latest changes and additions to the rules.
