Legends of Cphera is currently heading for Alpha testing at Champlain College's Montreal Campus. Right now, the system is effectively playable, but it isn't quite useable yet. The first step to fixing this is to create character sheets. A rather basic requirement, but one that requires an annoying amount of layout work in InDesign.

Combat Ability is going to be interesting in a fully analog gameplay environment. Since CA can be split up in many ways at any given time, it will mean that Attack Bonuses will essentially have to be computed separately every round. Hopefully this won't take up as much time in combat as we fear; combat is already on the border of being too complicated to run smoothly.

We will be producing a fully analog character sheet as well as eventually creating a dynamic PDF sheet designed to be contained on a computer. This sheet will aid in key areas such as computation of dynamic Combat Ability numbers, the use of Action Points, and other structures that are difficult to track on paper.

Another aspect of this website that we are going to work on is the new Help section (seen in the green box on the right). This will provide helpful tutorials to newcomers to the table-top RPG genre and tips and tricks for experienced players and players coming from different games.

Beyond that, magic is still in developmental state, serious content-creation is needed for Tracks, and there are still various holes in the rules. These gaps will be filled over the coming months, and the creation of the Cphera game world will continue as well.
