Animals are nonmagical fauna, akin or identical to the animals of Earth.

Animals tend to have high Physical Abilities, and comparatively low Mental ones. An animal of medium size or larger will tend to have all physical scores above 5.

Animals tend to have high Intuition, often above 5, but the rest of their mental scores are usually low.

Most animals have an intelligence of 1, though certain clever species, mostly birds and large predatory or omnivorous mammals, have intelligences of 2. The most intelligent species may have intelligences of 3 or even 4.

Animal willpower tends to be around 2 or 3.

Animals generally possess poor understanding of themselves. They tend to have Charisma scores of 1 or 2.
