Elements
Air |
Air is manipulation of the air itself, that most abundant resource. At low levels it is used for evasion and deflection. At higher levels it becomes an inescapable and potent weapon. |
Fire |
The fire discipline makes flame appear out of nowhere, leaping dangerously all about. It needs little introduction. |
Water |
The Water discipline controls and shapes water. It cannot create water out of nothing, but it can draw water from unexpected sources, even out of the air. |
Earth |
The Earth discipline is concerned with the manipulation of earth, stone, and soil. |
Life |
The Life discipline holds dominion over life itself, allowing the caster to control life force directly and shape it as she pleases. |
Aspects
Cold |
Cold is the discipline concerned quite simply with lowering temperatures. |
Darkness |
Darkness masters the suppression of light, and the creation of magical darkness. It obscures, conceals, and distracts. |
Light |
Light provides illumination where all other lights fail. At its simplest it reveals, at its most powerful it is deadly. |
Lightning |
The Lightning discipline controls all forms of electricity. |
Mind |
The Mind discipline is concerned with the manipulation of your own and others' minds. Mind spells are always resisted with Will or Presage saves. |
Perception |
Perception is considered by some to be the most basic school of magic. It is concerned with heightening the senses to unnatural levels. It governs anything to do with the senses. |
Materia
Cloth |
The Cloth discipline broadly covers all plant or animal material that was once living but has since been turned into some sort of product. This includes cloth, wood furniture, rope, leather, and many other materials, though it does not include "raw" animal or plant materials such as uncut wood or hay. Food products are also not covered. |
Flesh |
Flesh is concerned with the manipulation of the raw material of the body - flesh, blood, bone, tendon, and so on. |
Metal |
The Metal discipline is concerned with the manipulation of metal of all types - be it iron, copper, bronze, tin, lead, or any other form. |
Plant |
The Plant discipline controls all plants, fungi, mold, and green things that grow upon the earth. It can achieve startling results. |
Prestige
Only Established casters can take ranks in the Prestige Disciplines.
Creation |
The Creation Discipline covers that most basic force - Creation. |
Magic |
The Magic discipline is concerned with directly manipulating magical energies, and bending them in new and special ways. |
Space |
The Space domain plays games with distance and size, position and relation, shaping the fabric of the world to its own whims. |
Mastery
Only Legendary casters can take ranks in the Mastery Disciplines.
Chance |
Chance is the most basic force and most powerful discipline in the universe. With this you control raw probability. |
Time |
Time is one of the most powerful forces of existence. Those who control it gain a worrisome amount of influence over their universe. |
