Prerequisites: Established Character, Improved Shield Use, CA +12, Agility 4
Cost: 6 General Upgrade Points
This character no longer loses his shield bonus to AC when he is Flat-footed. He still loses it if he is unaware of his opponent.
This means that you can block projectiles when flat-footed, which you cannot normally do.
Normally: You lose your shield bonus to AC when Flat-footed.
