Talk:Magic Overview
If you write a basic example of how you want Sigil magic to look I can start expanding it at my leisure - but I don't want to take it in a different direction than you envisioned. I need your example first. --Noirmachina 09:01, 27 August 2010 (MDT)
- Sigil Magic is still being worked out. Sorry, but this one's going to take a while. --Drizztmainsword 12:45, 27 August 2010 (MDT)
Another thing - Can we specify if things require verbal/somatic/etc components? For example, I feel that everything in Pyrokinesis requires somatic components except for ignition when used as a touch effect, allowing you to burn through your ropes when bound but not to light the guard on fire with your hands still tied. Any thoughts? --Noirmachina 09:12, 27 August 2010 (MDT)
- Yeah. That sounds good. Make sure there are ways to bypass this. Perhaps metamagic feats. --Drizztmainsword 12:45, 27 August 2010 (MDT)
Healing
Healing magic - We have it, yes? Where is it categorized under and what does it look like? I need this info to write certain rules I am thinking about. Please advise. --Noirmachina 19:15, 30 August 2010 (MDT)
Capacity increase
Hey, the Capacity page suggests there are ways to improve your capacity, which makes sense. How does one do this? Is it with Feats? We have a magic Feats section now. Do you get it only via tracks? What's the deal.

I'm thinking that feats will be able to somewhat increase a character's Capacity (as well as Attributes), while certain tracks will allow for more dramatic improvement (at higher Tiers of course).
Tenacity can be improved through feats as well. I've actually got a bunch of Magic Feats in mind, why don't you let me take care of it.
--Drizztmainsword 21:36, 30 August 2010 (MDT)
Sounds great. You take care of it.
Should, say, even-leveled magic tiers grant an additional point? --Noirmachina 21:38, 30 August 2010 (MDT)
I don't know. That sounds like it could compound pretty readily. My concept with Capacity is that it remains somewhat constant throughout a spellcaster's life. That's why higher tier stuff doesn't cost that much more capacity.

Fair enough. By the way, those tenacity increasing feats look a little confusing. You have to be currently holding continuing effects for it to be reduced? --Noirmachina 22:02, 30 August 2010 (MDT)
