A character's Tenacity is effectively his spiritual endurance. Every time a character casts a spell or invokes a power, the cost of that spell adds towards the character's Tenacity. Any spells that go over this threshold deals the difference in Sublethal Damage, bypassing the normal DR for sublethal damage.
Tenacity is determined through the following formula:
Tenacity = Constitution x (Capacity/2)
- When a character is maintaining constant effect spells one point is added towards his Tenacity value at the end of his turn. This extra point is the same if the character is maintaining one spell or several.
- A character's Tenacity is completely cleared from full over the course of six hours.
