Tiered Skill — Wisdom
Concentration dictates how well a character can focus on a particular task despite distractions and how well a character can keep track of a large number of variables.

Retain control of extra Combat Threads | 15 + 5 for every Combat Thread above the character's maximum. |
Maintain concentration on a task when hit | 10 + Damage dealt |
Skill Tiers
This skill starts at Tier Zero. The upgrade cost of skill tiers is 2 + (Current Skill Tier x2) Upgrade Points.
Tier One
A character with Tier One Concentration can take 10 on his Concentration check in non-stressful situations. Otherwise, a character must always make a concentration check even for non-stressful activities.
Tier Two and Above
For every Tier of Concentration a character gains after the first, the character gains another Combat Thread.
