Prerequisites: +2 CA, Proficiency with at least 10 weapons
Cost: 2 General Upgrade Points

Whenever the character is using a melee weapon with which she is proficient that does slashing or piercing damage, she may choose to deal the other type of damage by cutting the damage in half. Swords have points and spears have edges.

This only can be applied to weapons that deal lethal damage - sublethal cannot be changed via this feat. The weapon also must only be able to deal the type of damage from which it is being converted - weapons which do "bludgeoning and piercing" like the Morningstar, or something similar, cannot be converted.

The GM may rule that this cannot be used with specific weapons as they see fit. A spike, for example, clearly only could deal piercing.

Normally: Weapons cannot do this.
