Craft DC: 24 (smithing)

Chainmail comes in many different patterns or weaves. By sacrificing some Agility and gaining weight, you may make thicker, tightly woven chainmail that is tougher and will do better against impact blows. This is more expensive, but some find it worth the cost.

For the purposes of move silently checks, as with normal chainmail, the armor is treated as having twice the armor check penalty as normal - thus it gives a -10 penalty instead of just a -5.
