The Quarterstaff is a 5 to 9-foot hardwood staff. It is a ubiquitous weapon all over the world, as it is so easy to use.

The quarterstaff may be used as a Double Weapon. Attacking with both ends in one round makes you incur Two Weapon Fighting penalties.

You can attempt Trip attacks with a quarterstaff. A touch attack that deals no damage is required. If you are tripped following your own trip attempt, you can drop the quarterstaff to avoid being tripped. You may make two trip attempts per round, or one trip and one normal attack, if you are using it as a double weapon.
