Improved Shield Use

Prerequisites: +2 CA, proficient with at least one Shield
Cost: 4 General Upgrade Points
You keep your shield bonus to AC even if you have no CA allocated to BDB. You still lose your shield bonus if you are Flat-footed, and any other time you would normally lose it (Asleep, Unconscious, etc).
In addition, you gain a +4 to all shield checks (used to block projectiles).
Normally: Having no bonus to BDB prevents you from gaining your shield bonus.
