A Grab is an unarmed Touch Attack. As such, initiating this action Presents an Opening.

If the Grab succeeds, the Grabbee is denied his Agility to his AC for attacks from the Grabber. This is also true in the reverse, but the Grabber may let go at any time as an Immediate Action and retain his Agility bonus to his Defense.


A grabbed character wishing to break the hold of the grabber may, on their turn and for 1 AP make an opposed Strength Check. If this check succeeds, the grab is broken.
