Gauntlets are metal gloves that come with certain types of Armor. While any type of armor may come with gloves, only some count as this type of weapon. The following suits of armor automatically provide gauntlets as weapons when purchased: Splinted Mail, Half Plate, Full Plate, Enforced Full Plate.
If you buy a suit of armor with Long Spikes or Short Spikes they generally come with Spiked Gauntlets instead, though you can opt to have regular gauntlets if you wish.
You can buy gauntlets separately as well - the price listed being for them unattached to a suit of armor. The price is for a pair.
If a suit of armor is destroyed the gauntlets still exist.
For purposes of being attacked this is a worn and not held item.
