Cold is the discipline concerned quite simply with lowering temperatures.

Special Uses

None.

Use in Mixed Spells

Combined with Water it can create Ice effects.

Counterspells

Can counter Fire spells.

Example Spells

Frost; Cold; DC 14, Target within 30 feet takes 1d4 cold damage.

Chill Aura; Cold; DC 26, Enemies making melee attacks against caster take 1d6 cold damage.

Resist Cold; Cold; DC 28, Target gains cold resistance 15.

Chill Burst; Cold; DC 35, All creatures within 15-foot burst take 3d6 cold damage and take 1d3 points of temporary agility damage - fort for half damage and negate agility damage.

Deep Cold; Cold; DC 42, Target takes 6d6 cold damage, 1d2 temporary speed damage, and 1d4 temporary agility damage. Fort for half on all.
