A club is a wooden (or bone, or iron, etc.) cudgel of rough shape intended to beat enemies into submission. Because of its ubiquitous shape, the club can be found essentially anywhere, in the form of a table leg, short pole, femur, or fallen tree branch. In general, it takes about a minute's search to find something suitable for use as a club, though very sparse areas (a desert) may take longer and very club-friendly areas (a furniture store) may take less time.

A Torch which has gone out becomes for all intents and purposes a club.
