Health: 2

Hardness: 3

Craft DC: 30 (Alchemy)

Flasks of acid are uncommonly dangerous weapons, a terrifying instrument of basic alchemy.

Acid is thrown as a Thrown Weapon with an increment of ten feet, against an AC of 20. A successful attack indicates that the flask lands and shatters in the hex you intended it to. Failure indicates that you missed and the flask lands and breaks in a randomly determined adjacent space, possibly affecting someone else. A roll of a Natural 1 indicates that you dropped the flask at your feet and have inadvertently attacked yourself.

If a flask lands in a character's space that character takes 1d6 acid damage. This both bypasses Armor and damages the armor you are wearing, bypassing hardness. They may make a reflex save (DC 24) for half damage. You may block a flask of acid with a shield check but in this case it deals full damage to the shield and half damage to you and your armor, as it shatters and splashes directly on you.

For each point of Masterwork this item has, it deals 1d6 more damage and has a +1 to attack, maximum of a total of 4d6 and +3. Two masterwork points will increase die size to d8. Another option is to spend two and have the flask deal 1/2 damage to all characters in adjacent spaces (Ref 1/2 DC 22).
